How To Insure Your Putting Contest:

Want to know what it might cost to sponsor or add a giant-prize putting contest to your next corporate golf outing or fundraising golf tournament? To give you the most accurate putting contest insurance quote, it’s helpful if you have to have a general idea of:

Which putting contest you’d want to offer (single or combination putting contest).

The length of the putt (remember longer is cheaper), the cash value of your prize and how many finalists you’ll have in your single-putt contest or how many players will be participating your three-putt combination putting contest.

Then, just click here or give us a call at
800-741-6943 and we’ll provide you with a free quote.

Remember, we can easily create a custom putting package to suit your needs and goals by adjusting the prize value, the number of finalists/players and even the length of the putt to fit your budget.

When you’re ready to purchase your putting contest insurance you can do so online—or over the phone—in just a few minutes. We’ll then send you the necessary paperwork and send you your free putting contest sponsor sign.

How Putting Contest Insurance Works
When you purchase a putting contest insurance policy or putting contest coverage from the International Hole In One Association you’ll pay a small fee, or premium, based on the type of putting contest you are running, the dollar-value of the prize you are giving away and the length of the putt. In the event one of your putting contest participants holes the putt, your putting contest coverage kicks in and the International Hole In One Association pays for the prize.

While prices for putting contest insurance start at $150, if you have a lot of contestants, a short putt, or a very large prize, you will pay a higher premium for your putting contest coverage. If, however, you have fewer contestants, longer putts, or smaller prizes, your premium will be lower.

Different Kinds of Putting Contests
We insure two kinds of putting contests: single and three-putt combination putting contests.

Depending on the size of your golf tournament budget the International Hole In One Association suggests using the three-putt combination putting contest if your golf tournament features a shot-gun start and a single-putt putting contest if you have the option of gathering all of your tournament participants together.

How the Single Putt Contest Works
As the name implies, in a single-putt contest your finalists each get one putt to win your insured prize. First, you’ll work with the golf course to set up a 50-foot or longer putt on a putting green. Next, you’ll qualify between 1-5 putting contest contestants through a fundraising raffle, a putt-off, a closest to the hole contest, or through any other manner you choose. Then, you’ll want to get everyone together to watch the excitement. If one of your contestants holes the shot, the International Hole In One Association will pay for the prize!

How the Three-Putt Combination Putting Contest Works
In a combination or combo-putt putting contest, your contestants must hole three different putts of various lengths in order to win your giant prize. Combo-putt contests are very flexible and work well for golf tournaments that feature a shot-gun start. What’s more, you can include every single tournament participant. A typical contest would feature a 10-foot putt, followed by a 30-foot putt and then finally, a 50-foot or longer putt where if a lucky player holes all three putts, they win your prize—be it a car, a house or cash.
